Workshops - Proposals Due February 1
Workshops are held at the beginning and close of the annual conference; and may include presentations, panels, group discussions, invited speakers, or any other program which may be of interest to members.
Special Topic Sessions - Proposals Due Februrary 1
Special Topic Sessions held during the annual conference may include presentations, panels, small group discussions, or any other program which may be of interest to members. Special Topic Sessions occur within the regular meeting schedule and should address broad issues and encourage dialogue and audience participation.
Salon Session Proposals - Due February 1
The intent of the Salons is to allow association members to selfâorganize a session which may cross disciplinary and methodological (e.g., textile science, social/cultural, historical, design, consumer behavior) boundaries in the field, and is organized around a specific topic. Organizers are encouraged to customize the submission format, review process, and dissemination of results in a manner appropriate to the focus and objectives of the session.
Research, Teaching Concept Paper Abstracts - Due April 1
ITAA scholars are invited to submit proposals to present studies on original (a) research, (b) teaching, and (c) concept at the ITAA annual conference.
Curatorial Exhibition Scholarship - Due April 1
ITAA members are invited to submit abstracts describing original curatorial exhibition scholarship to present at the ITAA annual conference.
Mounted Design Exhibit - Due June 1
ITAA design scholars are invited to submit abstracts to present original design scholarship at the ITAA annual conference Design Exhibition.
