Preparing and Delivering Your Oral Presentation for the
2025 ITAA Annual Conference
Preparing for your Oral Presentation
Each concurrent session at the 2025 ITAA Annual Conference will include four presenters, scheduled sequentially within a 75-minute session block. To ensure a smooth and professional presentation experience, please follow the guidelines below:
Presentation Format and Timing
- Each presenter will have 15 minutes to deliver their presentation.
- A brief 3-minute Q&A period will follow each individual presentation.
- The session will be presided over by a designated Session Presider, who will manage time and facilitate transitions.
Submission of Presentation Materials
- Presenters must submit their final presentation file (e.g., PowerPoint or PDF) to the Session Presider no later than one week prior to the conference.
- This advance submission allows the presider to review the session flow and prepare for timing and transitions.
Role of the Session Presider
The Session Presider will:
- Serve as the timekeeper for each presentation.
- Provide card time cues to presenters as they approach the end of their 15-minute slot (typically at the 10, 12 and 14-minute marks).
- Moderate the Q&A portion following each presentation.
Tips for Presenters
- Rehearse your presentation to ensure it fits within the 15-minute time frame.
- Be concise and focused, allowing time for meaningful audience questions.
- Include a clear introduction, a summary of key findings or outcomes, and a conclusion.
- Prepare to engage briefly with the audience during your 3-minute Q&A segment.
By adhering to these guidelines, presenters help maintain a professional and timely session environment that benefits all attendees.
We look forward to your contribution to the 2025 ITAA Annual Conference program.
