Preparing and Delivering Your Poster Presentation for the

2025 ITAA Annual Conference

Poster presentations are a vital part of the ITAA Annual Conference, providing an opportunity for engaging, one-on-one scholarly exchange. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure a successful presentation during the 2025 conference.

Poster Specifications

  • Prepare your poster to be approximately 42 inches square.
  • Posters will be displayed two per side on 4' x 8' rolling boards.
  • Push pins will be provided at the venue for mounting.

Poster Session Details

  • There will be three poster sessions, all scheduled for Saturday morning, November 22, 2025.
  • Each session will last one hour, with 1/2 hour between sessions for change over.
  • Authors must remain with their posters for the entire session to answer questions and engage with viewers.  Conference staff will be verifying attendance so that you might include your abstract in the conference proceedings.

Set-Up Instructions

  • Poster set-up will begin 15 minutes before the scheduled session.
  • Posters will be mounted based on the poster number assigned in the conference program.
  • If you have more than one poster in a single session, some prearranged adjustments to placement may be accommodated by conference staff.

Take-Down Instructions

  • At the end of the session, please remove your poster promptly to allow for the next group to set up.
  • Leave all push pins in place on the board for the next presenters.

Presentation Tips

  • Design your poster to be visually engaging and easy to read from a short distance.
  • Use clear headings, concise text, and graphics or images to communicate your key points.
  • Be ready to give a brief overview of your work and respond to questions from attendees throughout the session.
